wow, i’ve never cried at the end of that episode before? it’s definitely not one of my favorites but it has so many good things. the interactions between sam and dean and the chase scene which. i mean, c’mon. any chance to see baby strut her stuff is hot as hell. but it’s the very last scene between the boys that really just hit me this time.
SAM
I like her.
DEAN
Yeah.SAM
You meet someone like her, doesn’t it makes you wonder if it’s worth it? Putting everything else on hold, doing what we do?it’s dean’s reaction here, the way that he looks at sam right then. he pauses and then looks over at him and jensen has one of those beautiful moments of his, those monologue-in-a-single-look moments. and for me, the look was just wide-open, dean just bare for sam in a single second. one of those looks that says ‘of course it’s worth it because “it” is you and me in this car and there’s nothing i would pick before that, ever. there’s not even a choice, here.’

that face. that is the definition of tenderness. that is who they are together and for each other at the end of the day, away from all of the impossible situations and threats to tear them away from each other. that look, right there. that’s love.
