1939-45. Like many, I’m fascinated with WW2 history. So many lives, so many horrors… countries adjusted their entire ways of being to accomodate a gigantic war machine, children were growing up not knowing what it is to live in peacetime. Families dreading that telegram from the war office when the letters stopped coming. And then it was over.
Damn right, sailors. You get pissed until you pass out in uniform in the street, you earned it.
