What if Sam DIDN’T take the samulet out of the trash, what if Dean drove back a state while Sam slept because the guilt was eating him alive, but now he’s too ashamed to wear it so he just keeps it in his pocket, hoping that one day he could work up the courage to ask Sam if he could wear it again?
