awabubbles: #I’ve always loved the dichotomy between Dean’s closed-minded I’ll see and then I’ll believe #and Sam’s openness to pretty much believe in everything until proven otherwise #because it really accentuates how open and hopefully sam really is #he has a propensity to be faithful #to be hopeful #even when there’s no evidence #and dean on the other hand only believes in what he can see #which is why he almost said yes to michael #because all he could see was his own failings his demon blood addicted brother and no way out their hole #he had no faith not even in his brother #and it wasnt until Sam put his own faith in dean that dean stepped up to the plate #so yeah dean NEEDS sam #he needs him in a lot of ways #also i bet sam secretly believes in unicorns #yes he does
