From Shooting Script – Journeys End by Russell T Davies
I’m kind of interested in comparing RTD’s shooting scripts with Moffat’s? Like I really want to know if there’s any of this nice, thoughtful description.
Just commenting on that. In my scriptwriting class they tell us to only write emtotions that are obviously physicalised and not all that intense mental emotion. However as an actor I feel I’d rather have the description here.
Thank you for that commentary, I wasn’t sure if that was the normal way to do it or not.
I’m just really interested in how RTD has a very clear idea of how he wants this all to go, to the extent that it almost reads as written fiction. I’m not sure if that’s because he’s worked so long with David Tennant at this point that they’re both feeding off each other or what.
