Reason No. 2 why we should thank Mr. Holmes for Johnlock

Imagine the Holmes household: three geniuses and one „moron“.
Now imagine little Sherlock creating something incredible, something someone his age could never do, but he can, because he is very intelligent.
Mycroft would probably call him stupid, because he could make the same thing when he was only half Sherlock’s age.
Mummy would be proud of Sherlock, but I think it’s the father who would be genuinely impressed by Sherlock’s creation.
So every time Sherlock wants to be praised, wants to get validation that he is not stupid, he would run to his father.
And then decades later, after years of hearing „Piss off“, Sherlock meets a man who not only dresses like his father, but is utterly impressed by him and tells him that he is amazing.
He finds someone who praises him for his intelligence, just like his father did.
