You killed thousands of people and destroyed Manhattan, Loki.

I also don´t get it – Odin killed thousands of Jotuns and his Father Bor thousands of Dark Elves … see the pattern ?

Well, in Odin and Bor’s defense I have to say that they killed thousands of GUILTY PEOPLE: the Jotuns wanted to invade earth and the Dark Elves wanted to bring darkness to the whole universe. The difference is that Loki actually killed INNOCENT PEOPLE. Midgard wasn’t doing anything wrong to anyone. (that doesn’t excuse Odin and Bor’s actions but the difference is still there).

I also love how Loki here is like “I really don’t see the problem” when it’s obvious that he knows what he has done. (AKA: Frigga: “please, don’t make this worse”, Loki: define worse”) he is very aware of what he has done but he is too proud to admit it in front of Odin.

And THAT’S ^ a huge part of the movie right there. Loki knows he did wrong and is too proud to admit it. And he’s too focused and angry at Odin to focus on anything else. So he allows himself to yell at his mother and he annoys his brother to no end. He lets Kursed into Asgard to be a nuisance for Odin and Thor without thinking it through.
