i find it very interesting that i’ve continually been told by people of my parents’ generation that “i’ll see things differently when i’m older” when i’ve espoused liberal/progressive sociopolitical viewpoints, yet as i’ve gotten older, i find myself becoming only increasingly more inclined in that same direction. i mean i guess they were right if by “differently” they meant “more intensely.”
