“Oh, Moriarty this, Moriarty that. Fine, yes, he’s entertaining, I’ll admit. He’d reach the highest position one can get in Hell, I’m sure. But… He would have nothing to back it up. He’d be as defenseless as a kitten… or a snowball. Hah.
Now you, oh, Mr. Holmes… everything he is, plus the sheer humanity positively dripping off you? That mark on your soul is terrifying. If you break in Hell, Sherlock darling, I do believe nothing short of an archangel or two will have a chance of putting you down.”
#the point of this is – in Hell everything goes darkside#the selfless turn selfish – the brave become cowards – what little honesty one has turns into deceit#all the potential humans have for good in their souls goes darkside#and becomes the power that fuels the demon#that means that psyco and sociopaths who had smaller ranges of emotion while alive never get very far where raw power is concerned#angels get only as much power as their darkside grace can give them as they have no real emotions#and this is why Dean as the Righteous Man was fast on his way to becoming a powerful demon under Azazel’s tutelage#this is why pure souls are more valuable if acquired by Hell#and this is also why Sherlock would become so poweful as a demon#in this AU of mine that is#by the way yes he did make a deal#let’s hope the Doctor can help him out with that
