just a reminder that DEAN made the electro magnet that wiped the ghostfacers hard drive

it’s my personal headcanon that Dean would have gone to college to be an engineer. he’s fucking smart as fuck. 

Everyone makes him out to be a mechanic, like all he does is cars — NO, that’s just a bored but brilliant child finding an outlet for their intelligence.  Just as artists doodle on the walls, all Dean had was Legos and the Impala.  So, he took an interest in the Impala.  Give that boy a college education, he will build rockets and bridges and ultra-super-microscopic cameras. 

#The only reason that Dean didn’t get good grades and didn’t go to a brilliant school #is because he didn’t let himself #He had to look after Sammy #He constantly put Sammy’s future ahead of his own #Dean is just as smart as Sam #but instead of putting all his energy into schoolwork like Sam did #Dean put all his energy into taking care of Sam #and that’s why he never tried in school #because why set himself up to want things that he knows he can’t have? #He can’t go to college. Who is going to take care of Sam? #So he doesn’t try and he pretends he doesn’t care #because if he does care #if he ALLOWS himself to care #then he’ll fall apart (via winterinthetardis)
