Okay, so here’s where I stand as of today. I really consider August 1 to be the real start of my AO3 writing career. Before this day last year I only had 3 things up. And August 1 was the first day I posted johnlock.

I watched BBC Sherlock last July, liked it, and then went looking for fanfic. I was already reading some fanfic thanks to Doctor Who/Torchwood (Barrowman *shakes fist*), but it was in the Sherlock fandom that I really found my voice.

And you guys, all of you that have found and read and shared my work, I am grateful to every last one of you. I’ve written over 400k words. And it’s thanks to all of you. Of my 235 works, 176 are in the Sherlock fandom. Thank you, thank  you. I’ve got some more stats I can post, but I have to run off to the day job now, so that’ll be tonight
