The interaction between these two was probably my favourite thing out of all of season two. Ianto’s general dislike of Captain John is just hilarious, he’s so jealous and petty towards him.
Jealous, bitchy Ianto is a thing of beauty. He doesn’t come out nearly enough for my liking. I like how in this set you can see the entire progression of the eye roll from the initial thought of “Fuck me, thanks for that Captain Obvious.” Gareth and his ability to act using only his eyeballs is just amazing.
