One of the items on the 2015 GISHWHES (“Greatest International Scavenger Hunt The World Has Ever Seen” hosted by Misha Collins every year) was: 

“Let’s see a portrait of Robert Downey, Jr. or Iron Man made entirely of salt and pepper. Tweet it to him (@robertdowneyjr) with @gishwhes in the tweet. Submit a link to the image to us, NOT a link to an image of the tweet – but you must tweet it to him for your image to count.”

Which, if you weren’t aware, is the reason why there has been an influx of images of RDJ (or Iron Man) made out of salt-pepper in the past week.
