If you haven’t already, go out and vote today!
If you’re scared about going to a strange place and doing something you haven’t done before, don’t worry! Polling stations have staff and volunteers and their whole job is to walk you through the process! Keep your pieces of ID out, do what they ask (mostly it will be showing your ID, waiting in this line, then going behind the screen to vote), and it will be over quickly.
If you need help voting because of sight, hearing, or mobility issues, the staff is trained to help with that too, and you can have a support person with you everywhere but behind the voting screen when you actually put the X in the circle.
Voting is designed to be accessible for all.
So many people worked so hard for the right to vote. If you are a woman, a person of colour, part of the LGBTA spectrum, or anyone other than a cis white man, you owe it to those who were denied the right to, to vote today.
Please, please go vote today, and together we can stop Harper!
