Fortunately I have insurance for this to be submitted to, so it won’t be that bad (probably just my $320 ER copay), but this is two of the bills for my short ER visit. The remaining balance in the bottom one is $2818.15, from an original cost of $4698.59 Theres another bill around here for $50.

And I was a walk in. So luckily no ambulance charges.

This is why people without insurance/without good insurance in American don’t seek care. Because these are the kinds of bills they get.

And keep in mind, we pay for our healthcare out of our paychecks.
