It’s terrifying.

No matter how long it lasts, I am sure it hurts like nothing else in the universe. Also gotta love the fact that the Time Lord’s process of regeneration is both destruction and creation at the same time. 

Every cell in the body being remade, the genetic structure rejiggered. It’s supposed to be a medically stimulated and controlled procedure on Gallifrey with powerful pain relief and aside from one time (possibly) the Doctor has never experienced it the way it is supposed to be done.
