And it’s probably one of my top 10 favorites to read.

Because really

it starts off so honest

And it doesn’t take long for the dark-ish humor to kick in

And this poor tree

just wants a friend

And then there’s a bit more of the truth

And also a bit sad

But in a relatable kind of way

And then it happened

the pun I had been waiting for

And so the story progressed
