Nurse, press here. Hard.
I love it when they hold hands. (Lol)
I loved the imagery and metaphor of this: John literally showing Sherlock where to put his hands when touching a naked man, in a context where Sherlock is grateful for John’s take-charge side because he’s never had to do it before. He’s never had a reason before, since he deals with corpses. And the fact that John does something so fraught so calmly, like it’s not terrifying, is what’s remarkable to Sherlock. Sherlock thinks that’s just amazing, far more remarkable than the perfect locked room mystery.
Note John is stopping the bleeding, and with Sherlock. They’re both stopping it together. And John does save Bainbridge’s life, and Sholto’s. Blatant foreshadowing imo.
You guys are watching porn. If ya didn’t know. The moment John told Sherlock “take off your scarf” — a huge part of Sherlock’s identity and a security blanket — Sherlock didn’t even hesitate and just trusted him.
