Based on the first post, I decided to start up this blog. Basically, you can submit any story about how fandom affected you, your life, why it’s important to you. The point is to show that fandom is not just a frivolous, meaningless hobby to some people who are in it. Whether it’s about the content, the art or fic, the communities, the meta, whatever, if some part of it meant something to you, feel free to share it.

Feel free to submit here, or to the askbox here. Feel free to submit anonymously as well.

I’ll publish anything you send me. Please be considerate of others feelings and lets keep this a fun, positive experience.

Hey guys~ After some discussion on another blog, I was encouraged to start up this sideblog. Basically, some of you have sent me some very warm and moving messages in the past about how my art or some part of fandom has affected your life in some way. In situations where the media and content creators bash on fandom for being weird and deviant, I think about these stories, and wish that those people could understand the fans perspective on it. I’d really love to see more stories like it and be able to share them with more people.

So feel free to submit anything like that to this blog. You can submit anonymously via ask if you are uncomfortable sharing personal stories. This is not just for Sherlock fandom, it can be any fandom, from any point in your life. It can be anything from as little as making a bad day brighter to something that saved your life. There’s a whole range of amazing stuff that happens in fandom that people don’t like to mention because it doesn’t get as many clicks on their articles, and when they insult all of fandom, they insult and trivialize these experiences as well. It would be great to collect some of them in one place.

Thanks for everything, guys 🙂

C’mon guys. Let the positivity flow 🙂
