do you ever wish you were a character in a book? which one would you choose?

The first one that comes to mind is actually Merlin in the Crystal Cave trilogy. Yeah, of course his life has a lot of tragedy, but he’s also in a unique position as well. Of course that also keeps him separated from people too.
