okay I just have to spell it out one more time how this movie gave aggressive, arrogant, generally associated with all things dudely Thor a character arc where he had to learn how to be humble and think of how his actions affect others and acknowledge and APOLOGIZE for his mistakes. To be “worthy,” Thor had to cast aside all the selfish  dudebro warrior tendencies he learned growing up in Asgard and learn how to see when to admit his bad judgment and ask for forgiveness from the people he hurt instead of solving problems with more fighting. This could’ve so easily been a movie about a macho dude who was stripped of his masculinity (via his status/power) and ran around punching things to earn it back, all while wooing some earth girl with how big and macho he was. And it was the exact opposite.

EVERYTHING WENT BETTER THAN EXPECTED WITH THIS MOVIE AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. 😀

THIS IS WHY I RATE THOR SO HIGHLY GUISE SRSLY

GOD I LOVE THOR SO MUCH

I would also like to point out it’s directed by Kenneth Branagh
