John Barrowman singing! At Salt lake comic con!

Before he sang this song he was telling us about the day that he and Scott went to get married in America because it was now finally legal! They didn’t have a hard time getting to the front of the line because everyone there was 50-80 years old. After their ceremony one of the couples came up to them and asked if they would stay to be the witness for them because quite a few of them no longer had any family. They of course did, but John told us that watching all them all get married made him realize that when you find the right person you would wait a 1000 years for them.

So I was listening to John Barrowman’s cover of  "A thousand years" (which is such an OTP song anyway) and I was suddenly hit with massive mystrade feels. Like I could totally see this from Mycroft’s POV.

I mean really:

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone,
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.

And then it just goes from there….

John Barrowman performs “1000 Years” on QVCUK

I really think John has the most beautiful rich voice.  And his recordings of songs from Phantom are my favorite versions.  But, I’m not loving this as much as other versions I’ve heard
