my final thought before making most decisions: fuck it

It’s #WorldMentalHealthDay. I’ve got ADHD and depression. Getting diagnosed and medicated as an adult has made a world of difference. My brain is different, but it’s beautiful in its own way.

Why did you choose your username: It’s my first name/last initial. I ended up switching to this because it’s uncommon. The other username I used to use more often online was ReliantFC3 because the USS Reliant is a miranda- class starship (close enough), and FC3 is what i was in the navy

For some reason thinking about childhood things:
1) I graduated elementary school twice. At the end of 5th grade, i graduated and would have gone to middle school, but we moved, I did 6th grade, graduated and went on to Jr. High.
2) I’ve literally told stories long as I can remember and pretty sure I’ve been writing them since I learned how to write. I wrote a story on the typewriter when I was six.
3) When I was little I used to tell my brother stories about someone stuck in a giant cake-world thing. We shared a bedroom and made our parents nuts because i’d be talking long after bed time.
4) My brother and I also had a story-game where one would tell a chose your own adventure type story and the other person could only use items of a certain letter. G was generally off limits because a gun was too easy to use against monsters.
5) I used to act out Hans Christian Andersen stories with my barbies, especially little mermaid in the bath. Before the movie ever came out. (It’s always made me happy that I read somewhere that Andersen used to act out stories with his dolls too)
Me, talking about whatever I’m hyperfocused on: *very excited and happy to talk about said thing, is genuinely enjoying the conversation*
Friend: *says nothing, does not respond, doesn’t react in anyway*
Me, wringing my hands nervously: so um, anyways, let’s talk about Normal Stuff(TM)
