1. Favourite book? 2. Favourite Torchwood episode? 3. Favourite way to get over writer’s block? :)

1) Favourite book is probably Ender’s Game. Reread it every few years and always find something different.

2)Favourite episode is probably Fragments? I know that might be a weird choice, but I’m sucker for origin stories and seeing where things started from.

3) Getting over writers block. um, honestly it’s probably showing the work in progress to someone who I know will get excited about it and bug me until i finish it or that I can bounce ideas off until i find my mojo again. That’s probably weird of me too

Anonymously message me (3) things you want to know about me

1.) Wildest fantasy. 2.) Favorite flavor. 3.) Biggest regret.

1)hmm, for wildest fantasy I’m going to say just saying fuck it all and running off to backpack across Europe for a summer and seeing all the places I’ve always wanted to see and taste and feel a different breeze and not have any responsibilities to anyone or anything and just remembering how to live.

2)Favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip. I’m a mint fiend.

3)Biggest regret, well I’ve got a few. Maybe not getting a college degree sooner, but at least getting it now I know what I want (more or less) and I have more of a desire to succeed.

I’m a fanfic author. I really, really want people to read my stuff. I do. But at the same time, I don’t. And I certainly don’t want to ask them to. Like “Heeeeey, lookit me, I made story!” because I’ll seem like a pathetic lunatic. I have panic attacks about wanting to be the kind of writer that people get excited to see updated something, but I feel like I’m that “Oh, no, why doesn’t she give up” girl. Ya dig?

Well, anon, all I can tell you is that you don’t know if you don’t try. Don’t try to measure up to anyone else but yourself. Some fics you pour everything into get barely a handful of hits, while others you dash off in an hour might get tons. Also, especially with fanfic, if you’ve got people you trust that are into what you’re writing, don’t be afraid to go “hey, I wrote this thing, would you mind taking a look?” Be willing to listen to *constructive* criticism, but don’t let the negative get you down either.

So whomever you are, I hope you do give it a try. It can be very rewarding!

7: who is your tumblr crush?

Ummmm I don’t have a crush per se, there’s a number of people I check frequently, but probably most often awabubbles and jazzforthecaptain

11: what’s your favorite subject in school?

I’m history major, but really I love learning anything I can. Writing too, anything I can get away with writing in.

4: what’s your favorite song at the moment?

The one I’ve had stuck in my head for the last few days is Bleeding Out by Imagine Dragons
