So roommate and I have made a decision. We’ve got tickets to whofest the weekend of the 22nd. But it’s just a little local doctor who con and we’d have to drive to Dallas and get a hotel room.
Austin Comic Con is the same weekend.
So we’re doing that instead. We’ll just eat the small cost of the tickets we already paid for. The one big reason?:

AND they’re going to simulcast the Doctor Who 50th, so we still get to watch that surrounded by fans.
All that and we don’t have to pay for a hotel or drive 3 hours. So, yes. Next Saturday will be awesome and crazy busy, but awesome.
