“And I’m looking for a blonde in a Union Jack. A specific one, mind you, I didn’t just wake up this morning with a craving.”  – Ninth Doctor

“I’m looking for a friend. A very specific friend, I’m not just browsing.” – John Watson

I SEE YOU RECYCLING LINES, MOFFAT ;D

Nice pickup! Never realized that before.

This is what happens when I rewatch both Doctor Who and Sherlock on a constant loop. Pretty soon, I’ll have them all committed to memory.

I’ve got a post somewhere in my Moffat wank tag of recycled lines. It’s kinda annoying.

I like Love and Monsters, the one episode I can’t stand is “Tooth and Claw” I want to smack both of them repeatedly in that episode and tell them to have just a little bit of respect

Ah, Queen Victoria and the Werewolves! I think there are weird aspects of that episode… for one thing, Rose prancing around in modern clothes for so long, and, like you said, the two of them being inappropriately silly (I’ve always disliked the whole “We are not amused” bit they had going). But I loved that this episode references Torchwood, and I liked the little “twist” at the end about the royal family. And the supporting cast in that episode is particularly excellent. It’s not one of my favorites, by far, but it’s not one I mind watching. Sort of one of those “background” episodes where I don’t necessarily pay much attention while I’m watching it?

Nothing, nothing, NOTHING will ever match my hatred I have for The Doctor’s Wife. And I can’t even explain WHY I hate it so much. I’m even disappointed in myself, because it’s written by Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite people on planet earth. And yet… HATE IT. With every fiber of my being. There’s something a bit Tim Burton-y about it, I think, that I don’t like (I am the ultimate problematic fave: I don’t like Tim Burton at ALL).

Well if you don’t like Tim Burton I can see why you don’t like it. Tooth and Claw did win me a trivia contest though. I won a Mister Potato Head Dalek for knowing who founded Torchwood (wanna see a picture of it?)

YES. POTATO DALEK? I MUST SEEEEEE!

The eyes are just weird on it. I wasn’t going to take it out of the box, but eventually it found its way out anyway. Yes, I have too many pop figures there in the background. And my bestie made me a copy of the Torchwood charter. This is my den of geekness office.

omg THAT IS THE CUTEST EVER! And I approve of the den of geek ;D

If you want better pictures of the Den of Geek, I’ll refer you to this. It was my birthday present to myself this year before my finances went to shit. Sometimes I really wish I hadn’t spent so much, but I didn’t know what would happen the rest of this year.
