“In recent years I traveled extensively for my job. There were several times when I visited a city for the first time I had what I call “a time-splitting experience.“
I was in Chicago with a business partner. There was a song on the radio – I have never heard it before or since – and the song reminded me of the music from the 1920s. I made the comment to my friend about how Chicago must have been during the ‘20s. As we turned the corner downtown in the old part of Chicago, I started seeing that area with old ‘20-type cars, horse-drawn carriages, people in that era’s clothing, etc. Then in milliseconds it would flash back to the present time. This occurred for several minutes, flashing between the 1920s and 1988, back and forth. As I turned the car off and the music stopped, so did the experience.
Then on another travel experience, the same business partner and I were in St. Augustine, Florida. I made a comment about how that city was during the time of the pirate ships, etc. I could just feel them in the air. As we walked down an alley, I told her I felt as if I had been there before, even though in this lifetime I had never been. Then I described what I thought was around the corner: a house with a particular description, specifically how it looked, the carriageway, the color, etc. I had never been there before and had never been in that alleyway in this lifetime. When we turned the corner, the house, just as I described it, was there.
A few years later I had a past-life regression experience, verified by dates and names, and re-experienced my lifetime with that same business partner in that house in St. Augustine. I believe that somehow being in the places where I once was in previous lifetimes triggered these experiences.”

normal things with creepy connotations:
- stopped clocks
- people accidentally speaking in unison
- cold wind at night (when it’s not snowing)
- seeing a light go off in a window
- static in the air – everyone’s hair is standing up
- slow piano music in a place that’s otherwise silent
- finding something you lost a long time ago sitting in plain sight
my neighbourhood has never had an ice cream truck. in the summer, we have the knife sharpening truck. it slowly circles the block and rings its ominous bell. i have never seen someone interact with it. it may be that only those marked by death can see it
alex??? this is truly frightening ??
i never really thought about it much until today but you’re right this is honestly a messed up thing for me to be accustomed to
Well this is creepy as hell:
Basically John Barrowman narrating about weeping angels. Merry Christmas.
I know it’s labeled Christmas, but this thing is still f-ing creepy and fits for Halloween.
