Just when I thought I couldn’t cry more about Exit Wounds…
I thought just how f*cking tragic it actually was – friggin’ IS – that John probably really did love, or at least very much care for Jack but realized it too late / was simply the single most unlucky person in the world really; I mean, he attempted to save Gray to earn Jack’s trust, right? To apologize, or to win him back maybe, or even just out of kindness? We won’t ever know but honestly – you can hold a lot against him but not that he attempted to save Jack (the way he tried to tell Jack that it wasn’t him who was truly in control of his actions, his voice all quiet and almost sad, sadder each time Jack didn’t realize, barely cared to look twice at him… the way he whispered ‘hold me’ and snuggled against Jack like he was about to cry soMEONE PLEASE JUST KILL ME), that he ****ING REFUSED Gray when he was supposed to fill Jack’s grave and only did so after Jack nodded his consent; that he finally DID save him and that he stayed. on. Earth. because Jack liked the planet so much. Because he hoped to run into him again sometime.
TELL ME HE IS A PLAIN-DEALING VILLAIN ONE MORE TIME AND I S W E A R I’LL—
sorry, sorry. Just had a lot of feels today, okay? *weak smile* Julia out.
