“If there’s one thing the world needs more of,” growled John, “It’s Sherlock Holmes being a barmy, arrogant, git!”
Sherlock regarded him evenly. “It’s perfectly safe. I’ve planned for every eventuality.”
“You are talking about climbing a building, breaking in, getting what you need, and getting out, all within twenty minutes. Never minding their security system or anything else that might stand in your way.”
“If you don’t want to go, John, you know I won’t make you.” Sherlock was already removing his coat and making sure his tools were in his pocket.
John took a deep breath, then another. “I’m not letting you go alone, you know that.”
Sherlock gave him a tiny smile. “Get the rope then. If this works well, we may get it done in fifteen.”
