merindab:

I’m learning Spanish, so I was searching Netflix to find stuff I can watch that has a Spanish language track and Spanish subtitles (I read better than I speak).

A lot of the Disney stuff has that, but you know what else does?

Sharknado. All the Sharknado films.

Well, I wanted something I’m already familiar with, Sharknado can’t be worse in Spanish than it is in English.

Okay whoever subbed these voices is ridic.

And I now know the Spanish word for shark… tiburón

If you’re into space stuff, or history or both, I’d highly recommend “The Last Man on the Moon”, a doc about Gene Cernan. It’s on Netflix. Beautifully shot, beautifully edited and a fascinating story.

“Don’t ever count yourself out. You’ll never know how good you are unless you try. Dream the impossible and go out and make it happen. I walked on the moon. What can’t you do?”

Television Networks: They cant be gay bc ratings will drop and quite frankly you need to stop pushing your agenda on us.
Netflix: YOURE GAY! AND YOURE GAY! HAVE MULTIPLE GENDER IDENTITIES! WOLFGANG’S DICK!! TWICE!?!?!? POC GAY CHARACTERS!! WE MIGHT EVEN HAVE GAY CANNIBALS WHO KNOWS? I SURE DON’T BUT ITS GONNA BE GAY!

Repo: the genetic opera is on netflix

I’ve never seen it so, I’m watching

Today I totally vegged out on Netflix I love documentaries, so this is what I watched:

Filthy Cities – It’s a 3 part miniseries on the history of sanitation and I didn’t quite make it through the first episode. Because  13th century London is ew.

The Worlds War – A doc about people of color in WWI and how the various European countries used (and abused) their colonial troops. Or in the case of the Americans, refuse to lead black troops and then got mad when the French treated them right (and better then their own African troops).

Supervolcano – A surprisingly well done docudrama about Yellowstone going up. It kept me clicking to the next part to see what would happen next.

The Science of Doctor Who – Brian Cox and pretty interesting, plus it’s almost weird to watch eleven run around the tardis now.

Churchill’s First World War – What it says on the tin, about Churchill and how the Great War shaped him and what he did.

Um yes. I did watch a crazy amount of television today. And played Sims 4. This is me avoiding the day. And yes I’m a history nerd who also loves science and disaster stuff.

The Science of Doctor Who is on netflix. I’m watching and I am intrigued.

Red Dwarf, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers are going off Netflix February 1. If you haven’t seen them, go watch!
