So I FINALLY decided to buy it due to the recent gender update lol. Here’s what I’ve found so far:
To make a trans guy with a smaller body who can grow facial hair, you’re going to want to start with the “male” choice, then hit the (…) button, and select “feminine” body type. That way you’ll be working with a smaller body type and bulking that up, and you’ll be able to put facial hair on your guy.
I took some screenshots of what the different initial Male/Female selections do with the Physical Frame choices:
1. The first is Female with Masculine. As you can see, this gives you a larger-framed person with breasts. You can change the pregnancy/clothing/toilet settings independently on your own. You can adjust breast size too so you could make them smaller, basically flat-chested. This person cannot put on facial hair options.
—
2. Next is Female/Feminine. Again, you could still adjust the toilet preference so this person could pee standing up and impregnate people if you wanted to!! This person cannot put on facial hair options.
—
3. Next up, Male/Masculine. Pretty standard, larger frame. They could still get pregnant if you wanted them to though. This person can put on facial hair.
—
4. Last but not least, Male/Feminine. Again, you can really adjust all the details of the body to make this person look really masculine and muscular; this was just the default setting. This is the setting I used for my trans guy character. This person can wear facial hair.

SO! Those are the BASIC body shapes, but they are HUGELY modifiable!
This is a male/feminine guy I made for one of my households. He will have facial hair, he’s just a teen at the moment.

Here’s another trans guy!
…
Rhodey what are you DOING back there, did you just realise Tony has an ass??
could this be changed during a sim’s life or is it smth you choose only once you create it?
You choose the body shape/functions once, during character creation. But as for clothing, they can wear anything you want them to at any time, so they could be a child/teen in feminine clothing but when they hit a certain point in your narrative you could change all their clothes/hair/etc to masculine stuff. They can also gain or lose weight, so I think you could bulk them up or slim them down?[EDIT] So someone mentioned you CAN change body stuff, so I went back in to check and YES! You can change absolutely everything about your Sim’s appearance even after you start playing them. Click the mirror to change appearance as usual, but unlike previous Sims games, you can change their bodies! Want a different nose shape? New eyes? Bigger or smaller waist? GO FOR IT. Plastic surgery finally exists in the Sims world lol.
Okay, so I’m rather pleased, ATM.
I’m a fan of the Sims, but I haven’t been able to play it in a couple months because my PC isn’t working right.
With this gender stuff that just came out I wanted to play it again. So out of curiosity I googled to see if I could play it on Mac or if it would make me rebuy it (which i would not do, I’m not paying twice)
Well, to my surprise and delight, buying it on one allows you to play it on the other, any of my origin games that work on mac.
So, needless to say, I’m downloading sims right now…
After my Jack Harkness sim has sex with my Ianto Jones sim, Ianto changes back into his suit, but Jack just stays in his underwear and walks around the house in his pink underwear and if that doesn’t perfectly describe Jack I don’t know what does
