1. I went to same school as Kasey Kahne (the nascar driver) and he was a couple years behind. I was also a year behind Brian Scalbrine who played in the NBA

2. I went on Space Mountain when I was like 6 and WAY too young. Came off the ride crying I was so scared. Didn’t set foot on another roller coaster until I was 14. And I’ve still never been back on Space Mountain.

3. Almost drowned twice before I got swimming lessons. And I’m still nervous in pools.

These are ALL omegaverse. I am endlessly amused that Starry Night is my most popular fic because it started off as kind of a joke I playfully called ‘my kitchen sink fic’ (omegaverse/werewolf/vampire) for a @johnwantsit fic prompt weekend and then it took off like crazypants and ended up having a modicum of plot, even. A Soldiers Luck was a commission fic and I’m still proud of how that came out. The Value of an Omega was, for a long time before these other two came along, my top kudosed fic. That’s always pleased me because it is omegaverse, it is asexual Sherlock, and there’s no sex. Conversely, The Bond we Make has the opposite choice being made and there is sex, despite Sherlock being ace. But I think I handled it appropriately and it all makes sense. Finally I LOVE Mycroft’s Choice and I’m glad so many other people do too. I enjoy exploring omega Mycroft and, well, his choices and how good a patient alpha like Greg can be for him.

I was tagged by @awabubbles to post the LAST line of my last 10 fics. I must admit I’m curious as well. 

  1. Mycroft fell back asleep, still holding John’s hand. The Knight and the Dragon

  2. what’s your dream vehicle? – Um, I really want a prius. I live in Texas, gas mileage is a bitch. 
  3. what are you wearing? – Back to the future tshirt and my favorite pink plaid lounge pants.
  4. what was your favorite toy when you were a kid? – Um, my speak and spell? (I’m a nerd). I also loved to make up stories with my barbies.
  5. do you look through the pictures you take on your phone, or do you just forget about them afterwards? – I look through them sometimes when they’re on my mobile, but once I back them up and take them off I tend to forget about them.
  6. what’s the last fic you read/are currently reading? – I actually did start on Gilded Cage, but the last fic I actually finished (besides my own) was Get What We Want by SailorChibi. Which is a re-read.
  7. would you rather be able to fly or teleport? hmm, I love flying in general, but teleporting seems more practical.
  8. do you like playing board games and if so, which ones? – I’ve always had a soft spot for Life. As a kid I really liked Mousetrap too.
