what is one of the saddest things u find when u watch torchwood?

it’s whenever they have a scene when they are all happy and cute and laughing and eating food

you kno when they are
ALIVE
and
NOT DEAD

exhibit A (and my only exhibit):

yeah this should probably be a happy scene but it’s upsetting because they,
u kno
end. 

and eventually, after time, it was only Jack, Gwen and Ianto at that table. 
and then, even further down the line, 
nobody ate at that table again.
